About Me

Hello. You're either here because you have read my work or you're lost. I'm the author of Reasons for Recovery. I'm twenty years old and I will continue to write the most awkward, depressing, funny, scary, romantic stories I can think of until I'm dead. Although, death highly frightens me. I'm an average girl who loves television and probably watches too much of it. I love music, life, everything. I don't like to give too much away--I like mystery. Yes, I put a lot of work into writing and I like to help others as much as possible.
I've learned since putting my work out there, that many want to know personal things about me. I like to stay as private as possible. Although I will reveal that I'm expecting a little one.
I'm pretty boring though. I love Breaking Bad, Big Brother, Pretty Little Liars, Switched at Birth, Teen Wolf, anything on Discovery Health. I told you I watch too much TV. As for music, I love Florence + the Machine, Bat for Lashes, Lana Del Rey, and so much more.
I didn't expect to get trapped in young adult novels, but then again I'm still younger than an "average" writer.  I tend to not like happy endings but since writing Reasons for Recovery, I've learned to appreciate a good ending. I've gotten hundreds and hundreds of emails from readers saying how much they loved the story. And maybe 0.2% who said I didn't represent suicide or depression well.
I began writing when I was a kid (don't they all say that). I used to make little books and staple them up. I began writing an actual novel in late 2008 (The Black Lily), which I have still yet to release. Maybe one day I will, but it's like my baby and I don't want it to leave me yet. I wrote Reasons for Recovery, which was known as Reasons on My Wrist (novella), just to test the waters. I wrote it back when I was in high school. I remember being bored and logged onto my email (which I hadn't in weeks) and saw about twenty emails about Reasons...I didn't know what to think. And soon, those emails came daily from people around the world. I was just shocked that people actually enjoyed it.
Now, I'm here and I couldn't be more happy of how far I have come. Reasons...has gotten such great feedback, that it inspires me to write more often. I will have a new novels coming soon called Devious, Lola's Last Laugh, Simon Death High
